MrBeast participated in the viral Hood MrBeast trend by recreating the meme. The YouTube star recently shared images on TikTok and Instagram that closely resembled edits circulating the internet.

The photos shared by MrBeast follow requests by several fans for the Internet personality to recreate the meme. The images show him dressed in designer streetwear, displaying wads of cash, posing outside a private jet, mid-flight, and taking a mirror selfie. He captioned his post:

“You guys can stop asking me to recreate the meme now.”

His TikTok post has racked up more than 67 million views; on Instagram, it boasts more than 7 million likes. MrBeast had previously dismissed the idea of recreating the meme when he replied to a TikTok user:

"I'm not doing the hood MrBeast trend, stop asking."

The 27-year-old media personality had shown interest in the “HoodMrBeast” edits when he tagged fellow YouTube star “IShowSpeed” in an edit of two individuals in street-style fashion, with their faces swapped for those of the YouTube stars. IShowSpeed, who was hosting an IRL broadcast with his brother Jamal when he got tagged, was left confused as to why his colleague shared the post with him.

Fans are loving MrBeast’s new look

Pop culture and entertainment news outlet @FearedBuck on X shared images of the YouTube star recreating the viral meme, and the Internet erupted with positive messages praising him for being a good sport about the meme and showcasing a new side to him:

“MrBeast really said 'let me switch it up and keep y'all guessing' hood vibes but make it billionaire flex,” @Bonniehartxo tweeted.
“Somehow, his smile here seems the most authentic I’ve ever seen,” @beammeupscotti7 added.
“I never thought MrBeast could look this tuff,” @Update1page praised.

Others praised MrBeast for "rocking the look":

“Not gonna lie, he look better like this,” @shakilmalhotra gushed.
“Why he lowkey rocking the fit tho?” @stay_smok1n reacted.

In other news, MrBeast faces criticism and legal threats after his YouTube video about exploring ancient ruins in Mexico. The YouTuber uploaded the video on May 10, 2025, which showed him in Maya archaeological sites in the State of Campeche.

On May 15, the Mexican Bureau announced that it had taken legal action against the YouTube star for publishing false information and using the archaeological sites for advertisement and personal profit.

The YouTuber’s team released a statement:

"No advertisement material was shot on any archaeological sites overseen by INAH, so it is unfortunate that this has turned into a political issue. Hopefully, it can lead to a productive dialogue and encourage people to visit these unique historical treasures.”
