Luna Blaise has just entered the world of Hollywood blockbusters with her role in Jurassic World Rebirth, but she wants you to know that she doesn't plan to stop working anytime soon.

In Rebirth, Blaise stars alongside industry heavyweights like Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, and Jonathan Bailey, who have proven their acting chops through their long-winding careers. So, as someone in their early twenties, it might have been intimidating for Blaise to share the screen with someone of their calibre and presence.

Despite these potential anxieties, Blaise reveals the joy of working with all this talent. She admits that it was a big learning experience for her to learn from the cast and crew. During her conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, she shed light on the lessons she picked up during her experience and how they informed her understanding of filmmaking.

"The whole thing was a learning experience. I felt like I was at the masterclass, literally. To be able to work with the people that I did — [the] actors, yes, but crew as well. It’s just not your everyday thing."

Blaise also sought some valuable lessons from Johansson, who she reveals has been nothing but supportive.

"Honestly, [it was] a college course for what I want to do — to have a captain of the ship, which was Scarlett [Johansson], and to be able to have her set the tone for everything. Really, from the beginning, the tone was set, and we all knew that no matter what, we’re all going to be taken care of. We all have each other’s backs. This is a hard process, but we’re notgoing to be able to do it without each other. We stuck with that, which was so helpful and so amazing."

While appreciating this learning curve in her career, Blaise wants people to know that "this isn't her first rodeo."

"I’ve been doing this for a while, and I want that to come off when people see me," she adds while speaking about the efforts it took to reach this place.

The 23-year-old star might be new to the Jurassic Park-scale filmmaking, but this is far from her first project. She has been working in the industry for over a decade. Fans of NBC's Manifest would recognize her series regular Olive Stone, who grieves her father's and brother's loss. Others might remember her as rebellious, short-tempered, and troubled Nicole from Fresh off the Boat.

With Jurassic World Rebirth, Blaise is stepping into the world of this iconic franchise as Teresa, the older Delgado sister, who has a fair share of run-ins with the ancient creatures. Initially, Teresa comes across as just another teenager who might not want to be around her family. Yet, she slowly becomes the emotional anchor of all their stories, bravely and selflessly fighting the odds for the greater good.

During the interview with THR, Blaise speaks about the surreal experience of watching Jurassic World Rebirth with a live audience to hear them gasp and scream at the horrors that dinosaurs unleash on an island. It showed how big and beloved this franchise is. Despite the unbelievable experience of working on something like that, she is eager to work on new and exciting projects where she can work on her character and learn more about her craft.

"I think that I want to do something that is going to make me work even harder, something that I can fully invest my time and energy [into] and create a character," she told THR.

The Jurassic World Rebirth star also spoke about her desire to continue on various projects.

"If I’m creating, and if I’m just continuing to just have my juices flow in that way and continue to work on my craft … I’m just excited for the opportunity."

Jurassic World Rebirth is out in theaters now.
