Final Destination Bloodlines continues to strangle death's path. So, death can't strangle human lives. Tony Todd, in his posthumous appearance as William Bludworth, was there for his final cut. We won't see the actor again, as he passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 69. However, his character in the film revealed the fate of one major character from the franchise, Kimberly Corman, portrayed by A. J. Cook.

Kimberly was the main protagonist in Final Destination 2, where she saved many lives after her premonition on Route 23. While she has disrupted death's design, death consumes the three friends she was traveling with: Shaina (Sarah Carter), Dano (Alex Rae), and Frankie (Shaun Sipos).

That happens, and the story follows the pattern of surprising kills, which is at the core of the franchise. Alongside Kimberly, a few more characters are alive, too, which we will see. Keep reading.

William Bludworth is going through his final phase of life. He is revealed to be one of the survivors of the Skyview Tower. If you haven't seen the film yet, it is also featured in the trailer where Iris Campbell (young version played by Brec Bassinger and elderly version by Gabrielle Rose) has a premonition.

Final Destination Bloodlines follows her family in the story and wants to consume everyone, especially the ones who weren't supposed to exist, had death succeeded in throwing people off that Skyview Tower. Now Stefani Reyes (Kaitlyn Santa Juana), Iris's granddaughter, is trying to find a way to avoid what awaits.

So, Stefani finds the initials of a person, JB, in Iris's book, who is, in reality, William Bludworth, and visits him as he is 'someone who defeated death.' For that matter, Final Destination Bloodlines also explains his expertise on death, which we have seen throughout the franchise.

Now, he tells Stefani that death can either be defeated by taking a life or by death and revival. The latter is something that Kimberly Corman pulled off, as he mentions.

The death expert is gone from the franchise, but the franchise is likely to continue. He is most likely to be replaced with a new death expert, or maybe the survivors are on their own now. No one to help them.

There are still people alive in the franchise now

The death toll may have ended in Final Destination Bloodlines, but it is probably a temporary halt. Maybe it will devise its plan soon, but we can't say who its next target will be. For now, a few others are alive in the franchise other than Kimberley. In the latest film, it's Marty Reyes, Stefani's father.

From Final Destination 2, it's Thomas Burke (Michael Landes) and Isabella Hudson (Justina Machado). The former helps Kimberly and others in avoiding death, while the latter is a pregnant woman who is believed to be their savior. In that sense, her child should be counted as one survivor then (if born).

Lastly, there is this creepy pervert, Frankie Cheeks (Sam Easton), and Carrie Dreyer (Gina Holden) from Final Destination 3, who are yet to be consumed by death.
