Netflix has unveiled the first look of their forthcoming comedy film titled Almost Cops. The first look features its lead actors, Jandino Asporaat and Werner Kolf, as they look at something in police outfits. The storyline will take place in Rotterdam, and it will contain elements of comedy, action, and adventure, with the two men leading the story.

The official synopsis of the film reads,

In Almost Cops Ramon (Jandino Asporaat), a dedicated special investigating officer determined to make his Rotterdam neighbourhood safer, is forced to work with Jack (Werner Kolf), a reckless ex-detective temporarily demoted to Ramon’s team after an incident. While these opposites must work together, they eventually discover they have more in common than they expected: the loss of a loved one who was murdered. As Ramon and Jack become a dream team, they do everything they can to track down the perpetrator, revealing unexpected secrets and getting ever closer to the truth.

The film was earlier titled Bad Boa's, which was eventually changed to Almost Cops. Its synopsis hints at a chaotic storyline, which will deliver both humor and action, which is a trope of this genre.

In the past, viewers have seen many action comedy films involving the cops. This includes Eddie Murphy's Beverly Hills Cop franchise, which also helped him become an established name in acting.
