20th Century Studios has just revealed the first teaser for Deliver Me From Nowhere, starring Jeremy Allen White as Bruce Springsteen in the upcoming music biopic. Take a look here:
The teaser doesn't show White as Springsteen, but it offers a glimpse into the melodic journey we'll get to witness in the film. The half-minute clip shows someone putting in a cassette tape of Springsteen's Born in the U.S.A. The title reveals that it is the "Colts Neck - Demo" of his iconic track. This demo is an early, stripped-down version of the track he became synonymous with in the following years.
We don't get to see or hear anything else, but it builds up just the right momentum for the first trailer, which will drop on June 18, 2025. Before it comes out, here are a few details about the film.
What is Deliver Me From Nowhere about?

After his Emmy-winning breakthrough in FX's The Bear, Jeremy Allen White is all set to star as Bruce Springsteen, a man who needs no introduction. He is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist with a career spanning over six decades.
After working since the 1970s, "The Boss" got his big success with Born in the U.S.A., which thrust him into mainstream popularity and made him a cultural icon. The upcoming film is expected to revolve around a part of Springsteen's life, shortly before his sensational success. Here's the plot synopsis, per IMDb:
"Bruce Springsteen's journey crafting his 1982 album Nebraska, which emerged as he recorded Born in the USA with the E Street Band. Based on Warren Zanes' book."
Nebraska is Springsteen's sixth studio album, released by Columbia Records. Sources suggest that he recorded them as solo demos and released these stripped-down versions as they were instead of full-band renditions. It's a folk album from an artist who is mainly known for his storytelling prowess and energetic performances as a rock musician.
Deliver Me From Nowhere is based on a book by Warren Zanes that chronicles the making of Nebraska. It is directed by Scott Cooper, who is known for directing Crazy Heart (2009), Out of the Furnace (2013), Hostiles (2017), and more. Cooper has also written the script for this biographical musical drama film, produced by Gotham Group.
