Natalie Portman joins John Krasinski in the cast of Guy Ritchie's globe-trotting adventure film, Fountain of Youth. They play two siblings who rekindle their relationship as they try to find the mystical fountain that is supposed to grant them immortality. However, that comes with its own set of pitfalls. How does it look? Is it even real or just a part of mythical texts? The siblings ponder upon these queries throughout their journey. They are joined by Eiza González, Domhnall Gleeson, and Arian Moayed in the central roles.
Fountain of Youth drops on Apple TV+ on May 23, 2025, and promises an adventurous ride akin to Harrison Ford's Indiana Jones movies. So, it has seemingly fulfilled John Krasinski's lifelong dream.
"I played Indiana Jones for the first 24 years of my life. I pretended to be him as long as I could. This is the movie that I pretended to be in when I was a kid. So, to actually get to be in the movie that I pretended to be in is very surreal," Krasinski told Entertainment Weekly.
Natalie Portman also spoke with APNews about the film's family-friendly appeal.
“It’s so rare to get to make a movie that has this scale and this scope of adventure that you can watch with your kids. I’m always looking for something that I can enjoy with my children.”
