Happy Gilmore 2 is a sequel that came out nearly 30 years after the 1996 Happy Gilmore. The sports comedy film was released on Netflix on July 25, 2025. Its official synopsis, as per IMDb, is
"Revisit Happy Gilmore's golf career after his win in the Tour Championship."
This Kyle Newacheck-directed film is written by Adam Sandler and Tim Herlihy. They have also co-produced it with Robert Simonds and Jack Giarraputo.
