Happy Gilmore 2 is a sequel that came out nearly 30 years after the 1996 Happy Gilmore. The sports comedy film was released on Netflix on July 25, 2025. Its official synopsis, as per IMDb, is

"Revisit Happy Gilmore's golf career after his win in the Tour Championship."

This Kyle Newacheck-directed film is written by Adam Sandler and Tim Herlihy. They have also co-produced it with Robert Simonds and Jack Giarraputo. Steve Buscemi - The Reservoir Dogs actor plays the weird neighbor to Happy and Vienna. The two have to move out to a new place after their old house is sold.

Jackie Sandler - Jackie is married to Adam Sandler in real life. In Happy Gilmore 2, she plays a dance instructor named Monica who works for the Boys and Girls Club. She sends Vienna's tape, which leads to the latter getting a place at the Paris Opera Ballet School.
