Gabby's Dollhouse: The Movie is all set to bring the mixed-media interactive Netflix series to life as a musical road comedy with a surprising twist.Fans of the show should buckle up because the ride is going to be bumpy. The movie follows Gabby on an adventure to save her dollhouse. Its official synopsis reads:

"Gabby heads out on a road trip with her Grandma Gigi to the urban wonderland of Cat Francisco. But when Gabby’sdollhouse, her most prized possession, ends up in the hands of an eccentric cat lady named Vera, Gabby sets off on an adventure through the real world to get the Gabby Cats back together and save the dollhouse before it’s too late."

Gabby's Dollhouse: The Movie is written by Melanie Wilson LaBracio and Adam Wilson, along with director Ryan Crego. DreamWorks Animation has produced the movie, and Universal Pictures is handling distribution.

The movie will run for approximately one and a half hours and will bring a live-action element to the animated series created by Jennifer Twomey and Traci Paige Johnson, who also serve as executive producers. It is scheduled to be released in theaters on September 26, 2025.

The movie is based on the pre-teen-focused series that was the ninth most-watched web series in 2024, according to Nielsen. It currently has over 11 seasons.
