George Clooney says he "didn’t hesitate" to join the cast of upcoming Netflix film Call My Agent

George Clooney is set to appear in another Netflix film called Call My Agent! The Movie, which is based on a hit show that first aired in France in 2015.

Deadline reports that the actor confirmed this during a press conference in Los Angeles. He said,

"Since you’re French, I going to tell you that I’m leaving for Paris, where I will be participating in the shoot of Call My Agent next week. … I didn’t hesitate for a second."

The show is about four agents who are now in charge of a talent agency following the founder's passing. They face a lot of challenges with their clients, who are the film stars, and focus on one actor per episode. Although it also occasionally delves into the private lives of these agents.

Call My Agent is still up and running, with four seasons already in place. There will be a fifth season too, most probably after the movie arrives, but it isn't confirmed if that will be the last.

For its successful run, it has won a number of awards, including Critics' Choice Television Awards, Globes de Cristal Awards, International Emmy Awards, and ACS Awards.

Where will George Clooney appear next?

There is currently no release date for Call My Agent! The Movie, which means that George Clooney will next appear in another Netflix movie called Jay Kelly, playing the character of the same name.

His role in it is again that of an actor, something he has done in Joel Coen's 2016 film Hail, Caesar! too. He played Baird Whitlock, an actor who is abducted by a bunch of blacklisted Communist screenwriters, in the mystery comedy.

Joining him in Jay Kelly is Adam Sandler, who was recently seen in the sequel to his 1996 sports comedy Happy Gilmore.

Jay Kelly has already had a premiere at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival and is currently awaiting a limited release in theaters on November 14, 2025, followed by a release on Netflix on December 5.
