Georgina Rodriguez has announced her engagement to soccer icon Cristiano Ronaldo today. The couple has been dating since 2016, and speculation has been rife over their engagement for the past few years. Georgina has finally laid the speculations to rest, as she flaunted her engagement ring on Instagram by sharing:

"Yes I do. In this and in all my lives."

Cristiano Ronaldo had been especially coy when it came to revealing his future plans. The soccer legend made an appearance at the Globe Soccer Awards recently, when he referred to Georgina as his "wife" and hinted that an engagement was in the offing. When speaking at the event, he was quoted as saying:

"I always tell her, 'when we get that click.' Like everything with our life, and she knows what I'm talking about. It could be in a year or it could be in six months or it could be in a month. I'm 1,000 per cent sure that it'll happen."

Georgina Rodriguez has also taken the role of mother to Ronaldo's other children, and the pair has often shared fun moments of the family's social life online. Though the model had joked that friends had teased her when it came to plans for their wedding, the rumors will now be put to rest.
