Godzilla x Kong: Supernova might have already revealed its villain: Reports

Those big guys have traveled beneath the planet called Hollow Earth, and now they are likely going in the opposite direction. Godzilla x Kong: Supernova is likely to take the screaming monkey and the aquatic dinosaur to space—at least, that's what the title tells us.

However, that title is already telling us who the main villain is here. Hold your horses right there. We aren't talking about Godzilla's black hole-dwelling cousin SpaceGodzilla. We are talking about what the logo is indicating, which would be Gigan, as first noted by the media outlet ScreenRant.

According to them, that logo is :

"a dead ringer for the red glow of Gigan's visor" for "seasoned Godzilla fans."

Gigan had been there before that black hole first spat SpaceGodzilla on Earth in 1994. The legendary monster first appeared in the 1972 film Godzilla vs. Gigan. That one was met with some mixed reviews.

Both of them may appear in Godzilla x Kong: Supernova

Given the title and this new insight by ScreenRant, both of them might appear in the film. After establishing a fair few monsters in the past two films, maybe we'll need a couple of super-powerful monsters that require an Avengers-like team-up to face them both.

Both SpaceGodzilla and Gigan are extraterrestrials, so why not?

The latter aids these cockroach-like aliens who wear human skins to disguise themselves (maybe Edgar the Bug from Men in Black came from their place?). However, they aren't really human-friendly and want to destroy the human race. Godzilla x Kong: Supernova will surely focus on humanity's survival. We have to wait to see if these bugs infest them.

The former is sort of what we call X-Men in Marvel. Though he isn't really a mutant, Godzilla's cells went up in space and reacted to radiation to bring this cosmic abomination into fruition. He is likely to remain the primary threat in fans' thoughts until it is finally revealed.

There's also pollution at play in both the creatures' origin movies, Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla and Godzilla vs. Gigan, so that could serve as some sort of a plot point if we are to see these two antagonists appearing together.

Or maybe in a wild turn of events in Godzilla x Kong: Supernova, we could see an all-powerful SpaceGodzilla being taken down by all of Godzilla, Kong, Gigan, and more. And there's a Godzilla Tower in Gigan's debut that throws some really powerful beams.

Or maybe there's a space monkey of sorts?

In another theory that was brought in by ComicBook.com, there could be a giant monkey in space. We have to mention this, as this Godzilla x Kong: Supernova discussion was heavily tilting in favor of Godzilla. This comes as a fact that Kong has been the major protagonist in the past films and that shall remain persistent in the ongoing story.
