“He deserves this”: Collin Gosselin says he was in tears witnessing dad Jon Gosselin marry Stephanie Lebo

Jonathan Keith Gosselin, commonly known as Jon Gosselin, is currently the talk of the town following his recent marriage to Stephanie Lebo. The 48-year-old reality TV star, Jon's son Collin Gosselin, in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, discussed how he was both overwhelmed and delighted to witness his father getting married to Lebo on Sunday, November 23, 2025, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Jon Gosselin, who first came across Stephanie Lebo, a research analyst and a former beautician, in August 2021 at a common friend's barbecue party, after dating for two years, broke the news of their relationship publicly and got engaged in November 2024. Before tying the knot with Lebo, Jon was married to Kate Gosselin for ten long years. As per reports, they split in December 2009. Jon and Kate share eight kids, including Hannah and Collin Gosselin, who attended his wedding to Stephanie.

While the wedding ceremony was quite small in scale with limited guests, Jon Gosselin's son, Collin, who was extremely delighted and emotional after witnessing his father getting remarried, spoke to Entertainment Tonight about his feelings on the whole matter. Collin said:

"When my dad first told me, I was very happy for him. And my first thought was that he deserves this, as does everybody who finds their person. I think, with everything he's been through, it just highlighted even more for me that he's really deserving of this."

While Collin Gosselin was happy for his father as he began a new life with Lebo, he said:

"It almost feels freeing. Even though it's not my wedding, I feel this sense of just happiness and freedom for him, on his behalf, because of the things he's gone through. I guess he really hasn't had it easy in the past, so it's good to see this."

Collin Gosselin went ahead and said:

"I was crying when I first saw them up there getting married. I was in tears. It was very emotional, and usually I don't cry, but I just couldn't hold it back. You know, especially when he read his vows. I just lost it. I don't even know how to put it into words, honestly. Yeah, it was very touching, very emotional for me."

According to Entertainment Tonight, the reality TV star, Jon Gosselin, following his November 23 wedding to Stephanie Lebo, told his new wife:

During his interview with Entertainment Tonight, Collin mentioned how his father, Jon Gosselin, and Stephanie Lebo "complement each other."
