Heads of State has a post-credit sequence which showcases the end of its two villains. Viktor Gradov, an international arms dealer, and Vice President Elizabeth Kirk are revealed to be the main culprits of attacks on Will Derringer (U.S. President) and Sam Clarke (British Prime Minister). The post-credit sequence reveals the real fate of CIA agent Marty Comer (played by Jack Quaid). Earlier, the character had died, but the post-credit scene reveals that he had survived.

Comer is Warsaw's station agent, and he tries to help both Clarke and Comer when Gradov's mercenaries attack them. In that situation, he tries to stop the attackers, and that is when a bullet is lodged inside his head. But the post-credit scene suggests that he made it out alive. We find out that he has a metal plate inside his skull, which took the impact.

The post-credit scene also showcases him telling Noel Bisset about how he survived the attack. This hints at the possibility of a sequel where Comer might come back to have a broader role. While the main plot is resolved, there are certain threads that are left, which leaves a possibility of a sequel. Noel and Sam also try to rekindle their earlier relationship.

Speaking to Screen Rant, Comer spoke about returning as the character. He said,

“If [people] watch the movie and enjoy it, and Amazon feels like it makes sense to do a second one, absolutely. I'd love to get more of Jack in there [and] more of Marty.”

The story of Heads of State is written by Harrison Query, who also wrote its screenplay with André Nemec and Josh Appelbaum. Its cast members include,

  • John Cena as Will Derringer
  • Idris Elba as Sam Clarke
  • Priyanka Chopra Jonas as Noel Bisset
