In a recent exclusive interview with People Magazine, Elizabeth Olsen opened up about skinny-dipping in Northern California. Speaking candidly during her new romantic comedy Eternity promotion, Elizabeth Olsen reflected on a recent getaway with her husband, musician Robbie Arnett.

During the interview, the actress described how the setting prompted their decision to skinny-dip. Elizabeth Olsen recalled,

"There is this beach that dead-ends to cliffs. No one was around, and I took off all my clothes and jumped in.

She also added,

"Truly being naked in an ocean is such a wild feeling. You are also doing something that you feel like you should not be doing."

More on Elizabeth Olsen

Olsen began acting as a child with her elder sisters, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Her arguably first notable performance came in 2011 with Martha Marcy May Marlene.

Elizabeth Olsen's one of the most beloved characters is Wanda Maximoff, which also known as the Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Elizabeth Olsen joined Marvel's lineup in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) and reprised the role in multiple films, including Avengers: Infinity War, Captain America: Civil War, and Avengers: Endgame. In 2021, she brought the character to television in the Disney+ series WandaVision.

Elizabeth Olsen stars in Eternity with Miles Teller and Callum Turner. She stated,

"From Eternity, an older man who was an extra was wearing a button-up flannel that I adored, and I asked if I could take it. I have already worn it. My husband wears it."

Olsen also added:

"I feel like the overall message going off of what you are saying is that all of those experiences are all valid at different times in our lives or just they could be valid at the same time. But I know that was important for David [Freyne], which is why making a decision like this seems so impossible when choosing between two past loves. And so I think that is ultimately what David hoped for people to walk away with, is that even the love of a eight-year-old girl on a crush or something that's also valid and they're all overwhelming and exciting at different times in our lives."

Speaking more about Eternity, Elizabeth Olsen shared:

"I think this film and the themes in the film allow us to really understand what a privilege it is to get to grow old at all. Even though it mostly takes place in the afterlife, I think it really focuses on what is important to us during the life that we live. And we are able to do that by, I think showcasing such an absurd afterlife. It is not a very spiritual one. It is more consumerism it seems like, and more bureaucratic capitalism."

Olsen and her husband Robbie Arnett have kept their relationship relatively private. They reportedly met in 2017 and married in 2020. Speaking earlier on the Dear Chelsea podcast, Olsen shared,

"I did not know I would even want to get married or have kids [before I met him]. After living with each other for a very short period of time, [I realized] he is truly the most comfortable person to be around and the greatest support in my life."

As of 2025, Olsen's net worth is $11 million.
