My Fault: London is a British film in the romantic drama genre. It's an official remake of My Fault, which is a Spanish film from 2023, which itself was an adaptation of Mercedes Ron's novel Culpa Mia. The film was released on February 13, 2025, on Amazon Prime Video. Here's the official synopsis:
An 18-year-old girl moves from America to London with her mother and wealthy stepfather. When she meets her stepbrother, an attraction sparks despite their efforts. Her estranged father also tracks her down after his release from prison.
One of the main protagonists in the film is Nick, played by Matthew Broome.
How old is Nick in My Fault: London?
In My Fault: London, Nick is 19 years old, while Noah is 17. In the original Spanish film, Nick and Noah are 19 and 18, respectively, which is a slight change. The storyline revolves around the relationship of these two step-siblings, which is doomed from the start. The story takes place in the state of California, where the law states that the age of consent is 18.
This rules out Noah's possibility of having a smooth relationship without any hurdles. The makers use this point to create conflict in the story. We also see the age gap getting addressed in the narrative through the characters' dialogues. The slight age gap also plays a part in the film to showcase the different world views these two characters possess and how it affects their relationship. The makers have also made essential tweaks in the storyline because of the change in setting from Spain to the United Kingdom.
My Fault: London is a retelling of the Spanish film, which was adapted from the namesake Wattpad novel, which is a part of a trilogy. The film is written by Melissa Osborne, while Charlotte Fassler and Dani Girdwood are the directors. Erica Steinberg and Ben Pugh have produced it. Here are its cast members:

In a Cosmopolitan interview, Asha Banks spoke about working with the directorial duo. She said,
“Playing this strong, female character and having these two, sick female directors doing their first feature film was so inspiring. They made the set so comfortable, and Dani, Charlotte, Matt and I felt like such a team.”
Talking about her rapport with co-star Matthew Broome in My Fault: London, she said:
"He came in and was this ball of nervous energy. He stumbled as he entered the room, hugged everyone and his hands were shaky, which was sweet. I quickly knew we’d get on. [But then] he snapped into Nick and was super professional and confident. I felt comfortable with him immediately… he’s like a golden retriever.”
The directorial duo of Charlotte Fassler and Dani Girdwood is also working on the film's sequel, titled Your Fault: London. It is expected to pick up the story from where it was left in My Fault: London.
