Others might want to watch it again from the comfort of their homes.

How to watch A Minecraft Movie? Streaming details revealed

A Minecraft Movie has been available to watch in theaters since April 4, 2025, and it will soon start streaming. This Warner Bros. Pictures production will be available on Max.

Minecraft fans will be able to stream it from June 20, 2025, with a Max subscription. Per Deadline, it will also arrive on HBO’s linear services at 8:00 PM Eastern Time on June 21.

There are two Max subscription plans available for U.S. audiences: the ad-supported version currently costs $9.99 a month, while the standard version costs $19.99 a month. People can also opt for a yearly subscription by paying $99.99 (ad-supported) or $169.99 (standard).

Per The Hollywood Reporter, the subscription is also available as an add-on via Prime Video, Sling, DirecTV, and other streamers. Apart from streaming subscriptions, you can also watch the movie online by renting it on digital platforms. These include Fandango at Home, Prime Video, and Apple TV for $9.99 in the United States.

"Well, it would be so much fun. We had so much fun making this movie, it’s such an expansive world in the game, and there were so many things that we didn’t tap into that we wanted to. I would have a blast doing the sequel, and it seems like there’s already talk about it happening, so I’m super excited. It’ll be so much fun to go back into the world. The fans are just having such a good time. We teased it in the end credits, and the fans seem to be going wild for it."
