A new documentary TV special called Chris Hemsworth: A Road Trip to Remember will soon be available to watch, and it's the Thor actor's attempt to document the road trip he took with his dad, Craig Hemsworth, who was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.

The documentary's trailer was released a month ago on YouTube, and it's already a bit emotional. A lot of memories are there, which Chris Hemsworth believes can help his dad fight the early-stage Alzheimer's. For that purpose, his home in Australia was redesigned to fit into a 90s setting.

In the trailer, Craig really felt like he was home when visiting there, as he tells his son in the documentary. The actor wanted to do the best he could for Craig to help him fight this disease. Chris Hemsworth: A Road Trip to Remember will be released on November 23, 2025. Though no other American film is releasing on the day, the rest of the month will see some much-anticipated movies available to watch.

Among them is Wake Up Dead Man, the third film in the Knives Out series. It will bring the charming Daniel Craig back in the role of the flamboyant Benoit Blanc, a private detective hired to solve some high-profile cases.

Chloé Zhao's Hamnet will also be on the November cards. It will star Paul Mescal as William Shakespeare and Jessie Buckley as Agnes Shakespeare. In the film, the couple lost their child at a young age, which inspired the former to write Hamlet.

The documentary will be airing on National Geographic at 9 ET/PT, so you can watch it on the channel. But in case you miss it, it will be available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu the following day.

"This has become a very prominent conversation in my world, because I also have two copies of the gene that puts me in a higher-risk category for Alzheimer's. But it’s not a problem at this point, and it may never be. So I’m far more focused on my dad right now."

According to a report by the Alzheimer's Association, over 7 million people are living with the disease in America alone.
