People are looking for the mythical spring in Guy Ritchie's heist film, Fountain of Youth, which is coming on Apple TV+ on May 23, 2025. It already had a world premiere at the American Museum of Natural History in New York, as Apple confirmed in a press release.
Ritchie gathered an interesting squad, including John Krasinski, Natalie Portman, Domhnall Gleeson, and more, in the film. James Vanderbilt, writer of Zodiac (2007) and The Amazing Spider-Man films, has written the screenplay.
As far as the plot details go, the film is described in the press release as follows:
"Fountain of Youth” follows two estranged siblings (John Krasinski and Academy Award winner Natalie Portman) who partner on a global heist to find the mythological Fountain of Youth. They must use their knowledge of history to follow clues on an epic adventure that will change their lives … and possibly lead to immortality."
There are ancient history vibes in Fountain of Youth, similar to The Mummy films, though we may not see unholy forces at work here.
How much will Apple TV+ plans cost?

As the Fountain of Youth is only available on Apple TV+, viewers have to spend money on this one. Currently, the subscription costs $9.99 per month and $99.9 per year. For the UK audience, it's £8.99 a month and £89.99 a year.
Other Guy Ritchie movies on Apple TV+ you should watch

After watching Fountain of Youth, you can watch a range of movies available on the platform. This includes several Guy Ritchie movies on the digital shelf of Apple TV+. We will look at the ones that you should absolutely watch.
First in this queue is, of course, the director's debut film, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998), starring Jason Flemyng, Dexter Fletcher, Nick Moran, and more. Alongside Ritchie, Jason Statham made his acting debut there too.
Then there's Snatch (2000), Ritchie's follow-up film to Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. You won't see Brad Pitt doing a better accent in any of the films than he did here as Mickey O'Neil, a bare-knuckle boxing champion.
If you are a Sherlock Holmes fan, Guy Ritchie has got you with two films, Sherlock Holmes (2009) and its 2011 sequel. Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law star in it and have pretty well-written sequences.
There is also a gem, more like a forgotten gem, that the director came up with just before Sherlock Holmes, called RocknRolla (2008). Again, you will love the accent of the protagonist, Gerard Butler, playing the leader of the Wild Bunch, One-Two.
If you are into Ritchie's recent films, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare (2024) can be streamed on the platform. It is based on a book called Churchill's Secret Warriors: The Explosive True Story of the Special Forces Desperadoes of WWII and stars Henry Cavill in the lead.
For some modern gangster-like feeling, you can also go for The Gentlemen, starring Matthew McConaughey, Charlie Hunnam, Collin Farrell, and more.
While these are some of the best Guy Ritchie flicks you will watch, his recent TV series, MobLand, is streaming too.
