The film stars Holland Roden, Matthew Daddario, Joe Pantoliano, Tracy Pollan, Steve Schirripa, Patti Murin and Caroline Aaron. Helmed by Dustin Rikert, the film explores the relationship between two longtime friends, Morgan Quinn and Gabe DeLuca, who are immediate neighbors and are dedicated fans of the Buffalo Bills.

They also share romantic feelings for each other that they never express. Morgan's uncle Tommy wishes to find an unidentified patron who has been quietly gifting him something every Christmas for the last six decades. To help him, Morgan and Gabe join hands to find this person.
