Predator: Killer of Killers is the eighth entry in the overall franchise. The adult animated sci-fi horror film was released on Hulu on June 6, 2025. It consists of four stories set in different time periods and features the titular alien.

Here is the film's official synopsis as per Letterboxd:

"While three of the fiercest warriors in human history—a Viking raider, a ninja in feudal Japan, and a WWII pilot—are killers in their own right, they are merely prey for their new opponent: the ultimate killer of killers."

At Comic-Con, the makers unveiled a scene that features cameos from Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Glover.

At the recently held San Diego Comic-Con, Predator: Killer of Killers director Dan Trachtenberg revealed that they have added a new ending to the film. This version will feature cameos from the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Glover. The film, including the extended ending, will be out on Hulu on July 25, 2025.

The scene will also feature Amber Midthunder as Naru. It was showcased at the event for the upcoming Predator: Badlands. The footage shows several coffins carrying human corpses are being taken somewhere by the predators. Inside it are the dead bodies of Lt. Mike Harrigan and Naru.

Both Schwarzenegger and Glover had played the roles of Dutch and Harrigan in 1987's Predator and 1990's Predator 2, respectively. Trachtenberg revealed that he spoke to Schwarzenegger, who gave his go-ahead to use his likeness for the film.

The story of Predator: Killer of Killers is written by Trachtenberg and Micho Robert Rutare. The latter has also written the screenplay. It is produced by Trachtenberg, John Davis, Ben Rosenblatt, and Marc Toberoff.

Trachtenberg had earlier directed Prey, the fifth entry in the franchise. The film was released in 2022 and received a positive critical response. He has also directed the upcoming Predator: Badlands, which will be released theatrically by 20th Century Studios on November 7, 2025.

The franchise began in 1987 with the John McTiernan-directed sci-fi action film Predator. Its success led to several sequels like Predator 2, Predators, The Predator, and Prey, as well as two crossover films: Alien vs Predator and Aliens vs Predator: Requiem.
