American singer, actress, and TV personality Tamar Braxton took to her official Instagram account to share a serious accident that happened to her on Sunday, August 17, 2025.
Taking to her Instagram stories on Tuesday, Tamar Braxton posted some slides detailing the saddening event on Sunday. In the first slide, Tamar thanked God for keeping her awake.
“Thank you, God, for waking me up today.”
In the second slide, Tamar gives a detailed account of what happened to her. Revealing she almost died on Sunday after she was found in a pool of blood.

“I struggled to write this, but everyone keeps calling me, and honestly, I can't even really talk anymore I'm so weak. I almost died Sunday. I was found in a pool of blood from my friend with a face injury.”
She also listed some of the injuries she sustained, including broken teeth and a fractured nose.
“As the days go by, the worse it is. fractured my nose, lost some teeth and mobility & the way I look at life now is totally different. As my health is on the mend my mental journey begins.. pray for me for real.”
Braxton concluded the lengthy post by adding that she had no recollection of what happened to her.
“I don't even know what happened to me.”
In the third and last slide, Tamar posted a Bible verse about a virtuous woman.

Prior to sharing the alarming Sunday experience, Tamar Braxton promoted the recent episode of her show Caught in the Act: Double Life. She shared a clip featuring the story of the latest episode and captioned the post:

Caught in the Act: Double Life is a 2025 show hosted by Tamar Braxton. It features:
