Jamie Lee Curtis spoke about her approach to her acting career during her appearance on TODAY's Sunday Sitdown with Willie Geist. Jamie had famous parents who were also known for their acting, but according to her, there is one major difference between her and her celebrity parents.Curtis has been in the film industry for almost five decades, 48 years to be exact. Over the years, she has honed her acting skills and appeared in several well-known films and television shows. Some of her biggest achievements were her 2023 Academy Award for her role in Everything Everywhere All at Once and an Emmy Award for her dramatic guest-starring role on The Bear.While on TODAY's Sunday Sitdown, she said:"Nothing I have done actively has generated the amount of work I'm doing now. There is no formula for this... I was lucky because my vanity was not my meal ticket."She talked about how her parents were known for their good looks. She also expressed where she stood when it comes to her own looks. In her words:"My parents were both known first and foremost for being beautiful. And talented... Neither one of them wanted to acknowledge the deep, dark, truthful mirror of aging and so they both tried to fend it off."However, Jamie Lee Curtis, on the other hand, has been embracing it "fully."
