Taylor Swift recently appeared on BBC Radio 1, talking with Greg James about her new album and other things. During the appearance, the singer also confirmed that she won't be touring anytime soon after wrapping up The Eras Tour. However, the singer also did not rule out a tour completely either.
The singer's confirmation of there not being another tour anytime soon came in response to a question by Greg James while the two were talking about The Eras Tour, and Swift was responding to fan messages:
"No. No. No I'm just not. I'm gonna be I'm gonna be really honest with you. I am so tired, like when I think about doing it. Because I would wanna do it really well again, you know."
Earlier in the interview, the singer mentions how The Eras Tour consumed two years of her life and how she could only do the tour and not have any hobbies. She also said that she had hobbies once again, now that said tour is over.
The Eras tour was the singer's sixth concert tour and was a retrospective tour for all the singer's previous albums, as well as being in support of The Tortured Poets Department, her eleventh album. The tour ran from March 17, 2023, to December 3, 2024, and is currently the highest-grossing tour of all time, having grossed more than $2 billion USD.
In addition to the tour revenues, the tour also boosted the economy of countries and cities that it visited worldwide, in a phenomenon dubbed Swiftonomics.
Taylor Swift thinks about The Eras Tour all the time
In the same interview with Greg James, Taylor Swift also mentioned that she had fun while on The Eras Tour and that she thinks about it all the time. The singer stated in response to a fan message:
"I think about it everyday too. I had so much fun on that tour. It was obviously the most exhausting challenge ever, physically. But, um, you know, I will never forget seeing what I saw. I could see everyone from the stage, you know."
The singer continued:
"I don't think they know that. I have incredible vision. I got LASIK. So I can see miles past the stadium and so it was like I could see their experience and their joy and that fed me and that fueled me even when I was exhausted entirely."
