In another press statement, the program director for ALT 98.7 as well as senior vice president of rock and alternative for iHeartMedia, Lisa Worden stated:

Alter Ego is one of the many festivals run by iHeart Radio. The other festivals that are part of the iHeart Radio roster include iHeartRadio Music Festival, the earliest festival of the roster, having been founded in 2011. There is also the iHeartRadio Country Festival, which started out in 2014. In the same year, iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina was also founded.
iHeart Radio also runs the Jingle Ball, which was originally founded by WHTZ, a station owned by the larger company. The Jingle Ball was first named as KIIS-FM Jingle Ball, but was changed to iheartRadio Jingle Ball in 2011.
The Jingle Ball is currently aired by ABC. iHeartRadio is a subsidiary of iHeartMedia, which was founded by Lowry Mays and Red McCombs originally as Clear Channel Communications Inc.
