"I'm honored to be influential in someone else's release date of their book."

However, Gage dismissed the idea that Appleton timed the book release because of his announcement, saying:

"I don't know. I'm not the first person that came up with the idea to write a book, so I can't say that. So yeah, maybe it's coincidental."

The actor also said he’s unsure if he is mentioned in Chris's memoir. While Lukas laughed it off, TMZ sources say he and his management are displeased with the timing of the releases.
