Zach Bryan’s ex-wife, Rose Madden has drawn a sudden interest after he recently tied the knot with his girlfriend, Samantha Leonard.

Bryan recently married his girlfriend in a private ceremony in San Sebastián, Spain, on December 31. Various outlets, including DeuxMoi show the couple in a wedding attire, leaving the venue and driving off in a “Just Married” decorated car. Bryan later confirmed the news by sharing pictures and videos on his Instagram account.

Fans noted that Leonard shares a striking resemblance to Bryan’s ex-girlfriend Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia. However, she maintains a low public profile.

Bryan was previously married to Madden. They met while both were serving in the U.S. Navy. They got married in July 2020 in Colchuck Lake, Washington and divorced a year later in 2021. According to a report in The Sun, since her divorce from Bryan, she has moved on with her new boyfriend, Sebastian.

All we know about Zach Bryan’s ex-wife Rose Madden

Rose Madden’s ex-wife has recently become the topic of discussion online ever since Zach Bryan tied the knot with Samantha Leonard.

The former couple were married for one year after meeting in the U.S. Navy. Rose Madden also appeared on the cover of his 2020 album, Elisabeth. She largely inspired the project.

The original artwork featured a photo of Bryan and Madden sitting together on a rooftop (appearing to be on a picnic) with the album title handwritten across the top and a black border. The album is named after Madden’s middle name. Her full name is Rose Elisabeth Madden.

Reports indicated that by 2024, Bryan updated the cover art of the album on most streaming platforms to a black background with only his name. During the course of their relationship, they have also recorded songs both informally and in a professional setting.

Rose Madden is credited for background vocals on several of Bryan’s tracks including Me and Mine, Revival, Leaving and A Boy Like You.

In October 2021, Bryan announced that he is leaving the Navy to pursue music. He wrote in an Instagram post:

“If it was my decision, I would never get out of the worlds greatest Navy, but here I am and they kindly honorably discharged me to go play some music. Can’t tell if I’m a coward or if I’m chasing a dream but regardless, the best eight years of my life were spent serving the best country in the whole damn world.”

It is not known why the two went their separate ways, as their divorce reportedly took place before Bryan became famous. Neither Bryan nor Madden have publicly addressed the reason for their divorce. They have both since deleted the traces of each other on social media.

However, a People magazine report stated that Madden seemingly confirmed her split with her ex-husband through TikTok when she shared a video on the social media app. She reportedly posted a video that read:

“when your ex husband moves out, and you are now forced to cook potatoes with a f------- pumpkin pie mold.”

Since their divorce, Rose Madden moved on and is currently in a long-term relationship with her new boyfriend, Sebastian.

Zach Bryan was previously in a controversial relationship with Barstool Sports Podcaster Brianna LaPaglia, who had accused the country music star of emotional abuse. Bryan announced their split in October 2024 through Instagram Story expressing respect but apologizing for letting people down. LaPaglia said she was blindsided in the relationship.
