Jurassic World Rebirth will arrive in theaters on July 2, and the early reactions reveal that it is off to a promising start. They hint that the film has plenty of action and thrills that the franchise fans have been looking for for many years. Some of them also point out the similarities it shares with Steven Spielberg's 1993 film that kickstarted this franchise. They have revealed how the look and feel of this Gareth Edwards directorial reminds them of Spielberg's filmmaking style.

"#JurassicWorldRebirth is an absolutely dino-charged spectacle that’ll leave you roaring with excitement! Gareth Edwards crafts a Spielberg-esque thriller packed with visuals, terrifying dinosaurs, and anxiety-filled action sequences that will have you in its grasp. Jonathan Bailey is a standout, stealing scenes with charisma (watch some of his lines, trust me!), the film captures the nostalgic spirit of Jurassic Park with clever callbacks and song cues that’ll make your inner kid cheer. The new dinosaurs, from majestic (memes + Dolores plushies on the way) to menacing, are unforgettable. A must-see big-screen adventure for every Jurassic fan, but heads-up: intense dismemberment + gore might spook younger kids!"

"If you’re a fan of The Lost World: Jurassic Park, or Fallen Kingdom’s Isla Nublar scenes, you’ll love Rebirth. This is the most Spielberg-like directed Jurassic World film with a tightly contained story. At the moment: I love it"
The early reactions to Jurassic World Rebirth hint at a terrifying ride.
Some fans pointed out that Jurassic World Rebirth feels like a Spielberg-esque thriller, while others were happy that it's finally when the franchise is going back to its roots to make it scary again. In line with this, @CabooseEK said,
"Got to check out Jurassic World Rebirth tonight and had a really good time with it. Was happy to see dinosaur's be scary again. Gareth Edwards does a great job and making you feel the scale of these things and presents them in such a terrifying way. Some great set pieces too!"
In his post, Barry Levitt said,
"Hugely impressed by Jurassic World Rebirth, a film that understands dinosaurs are both incredibly majestic and utterly terrifying. The ensemble is fun, and Dolores is the GOAT (if you know you know)"
Furthermore, Jazz Tangcay added,
"Jurassic World Rebirth is a roaring triumph and the perfect entry into the franchise. Loved all the new dinosaurs and boy, are some scary. Get ready to fall in love with Dolores. Loved it and what a beautiful homage to the original."
However, there were some critical reactions as well. The one from John Flickinger said,
"Jurassic World Rebirth had a solid concept—mutated dinosaurs on a new island. I was intrigued. But the movie just feels blah. It’s a string of forgettable scenes that go nowhere. One river sequence stood out, but the rest blurs together. The characters are dull, there’s zero chemistry, and I found myself rooting for the dinosaurs just to feel something. The story plays out like a studio checklist—nothing gets explored, and there’s no heart in it. Some of the dino designs bring back that old monster-movie vibe, but the film barely uses them. It just ends, with no momentum, no setup, and no excitement for where this franchise is headed. It’s not as awful as the last few, but still feels empty."
