Kanye West is set to perform in São Paulo, Brazil. The singer, however, could reportedly face arrest in Brazil. As per Metropoles, the singer is likely to face arrest if he makes any kind of apology towards N*zism. According to the report, the Riot Police of the city have been alerted. They have been told to keep a team on standby for just such an occasion by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of São Paulo (MPSP).

The singer has also been warned against performing his controversial song Heil Hitler. As per the article, prosecutor Ana Beatriz Pereira de Souza Frontini reportedly ordered the Cyber GAECO (Special Action Group to Combat Organized Crime) to prevent the singer from performing the song on October 13. She also ordered the Cyber GAECO to prevent him from waving a swastika or other N*zi symbols.

If the singer violates this prohibition against performing Heil Hitler or makes any other kind of apology towards N*zism, or if he waves any N*zi symbols, he would reportedly be arrested on charges of racism. The producers of the show are reportedly also going to face penalties in such a case, with moral damages proportionate to the show’s promotion.

Two of the promoters, Guilherme Cavalcante and Jean Fabrício Ramos (Faublous Fabz), are also facing arrest if the singer ignores the warning not to perform that song or the prohibition against N*zi symbology or apology.

The push for preventive action is being led by councilwoman Cris Monteiro. The councilwoman has called for preventive measures such as the banning of the song or any other N*zi symbology.

Kanye West is yet to select a new venue for the show, with the original venue of the Interlagos racetrack having been canceled last month. The city’s mayor, Ricardo Nunes, has also publicly stated that the city will not provide a public venue for the concert:

"In public equipment of the City Hall, no one who promotes N*zism will perform or sing any word. We do not accept it and we will do everything necessary and required to ensure that no one who promotes N*zism has any kind of activity here in the city of São Paulo. Here in the city of São Paulo, we will not allow events in the City Hall's spaces by people who promote N*zism."

Interlagos also made a statement regarding the cancellation of the concert on its premises, although it did not mention West’s controversial stances:

"Despite the several technical meetings held with the organizers of another international event scheduled for the same period, it was found that it will not be possible to make the areas of the José Carlos Pace Municipal Racetrack (Interlagos) available in a way that ensures the proper execution of both programs."

Heil Hitler was a song that Kanye West released back on May 8, 2025. The track was later retitled and rearranged as Hallelujah. The track has been criticized by mainstream critics and received well by far-right critics such as Nick Fuentes.

Kanye West recently apologized for his anti-semitism

Kanye West recently met with Rabbi Pinto of the Shuva Israel organization. Pinto is an Israeli citizen and considered to be one of the wealthiest Israeli rabbis. Pinto revealed that he met with West in an X post on November 7, 2025.

Kanye West is seen stating in the video:

"I feel really blessed to be able to sit here with you today and just take accountability. I was dealing with some various issues of bipolar, so it would take the ideas I had and have me take them to an extreme where I would forget about the protection of the people around me or and myself. So I wanted to come and take accountability.

The singer continued in the video:

"…Sometimes people aren’t that knowledgeable about bipolar and the cause, or what causes it, and the way you act when you have this disease"

Kanye West has reportedly also apologized to other people recently in private. As per reports on social media as well as media publications such as FandomWire, the singer apologized to Miri Ben-Ari, the violinist on The College Dropout album by West.
