Katatonia 2026 Australian and New Zealand tour: Presale, dates, venues, and more explored

Katatonia is officially heading back to Australia and New Zealand in 2026. The tour announcement follows the release of Nightmares as Extensions of the Waking State, their most recent album.

This record is currently being supported by Katatonia with their 2025-26 world touring schedule. The upcoming Australia and New Zealand run is part of this cycle. The shows are expected to showcase material from the new album along with relatively older songs from their thirty-year discography.

Katatonia's 2025-26 live run includes an EU/UK run, a North American leg, dates across Latin America, and now an Australia and New Zealand tour. All these shows are linked to Nightmares as Extensions of the Waking State, which was released through Napalm Records.

Katatonia recently dropped a cover of KISS's A World Without Heroes. The band stated:

General public on sale will start on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 11 am AEDT via the official band website.

VIP Meet & Greet packages are also available. These include early entry, a meet and greet with the band, a laminate, a pre-signed tour poster, and a photo with the Katatonia members.
