Kevin Gates' current net worth is around $4 million, as per Celebrity Net Worth. Gates is an American rapper, songwriter, singer, and entrepreneur, and music is his primary source of income. While he has been in the music industry since the early 2000s, the singer started gaining traction after releasing his debut album, Islah, in 2016. Islah remains his most successful album to date with a multi-platinum certification.

A multi-platinum certification in the US means the album sold 3 million units, with platinum certification being bestowed on every million units sold. His second album, I'm Him, gained a platinum certification after its release in 2019. The singer also had some of his mixtapes as well as several singles reach platinum or gold certification, all contributing to his income. In addition to units sold, the singer also gets revenue from music streaming.

Kevin Gates' music has also been featured in several movies and TV shows, including American Honey, The Resident, Your Honor and Suicide Squad, and more. As per Music Mix Makers, shows or movies, or other media wanting to use one's music need to obtain separate licenses for both the master recording and the composition. In both license cases, the owner of the piece of music's composition and the owner of the master recording are paid licensing fees. Thus, Kevin Gates has additional revenue from the licensed music featured in various shows and films.

In addition to his music revenue, Kevin Gates also derives a part of his net worth from the label he founded, Bread Winners' Association, as well as other business ventures, such as the I Don't Get Tired energy drink, as well as various other merchandise and products.
