Khloé Kardashian embraces filter-free life, says she’s over photoshop in her recent podcast

The Kardashian family, including Khloé Kardashian and her appearance, has been subject to public criticism since their KUWTK (Keeping Up With The Kardashians) days. The media personality and socialite recently opened up about the use of Photoshop in the new episode of her podcast, Khloé In Wonder Land, on July 17, 2025.

In a new episode titled, Khloé Kardashian Responds to the Craziest Rumors, she responded to one rumor claiming she "photoshops every picture" she posts. She candidly answered,

"I don't but there was a time I definitely did."

She explained that there was a "time" when she was surrounded by people who made her feel that she "needed" to always put a filter. She acknowledged that, like many others, she was consumed by a "filter lifestyle."

Is Khloé Kardashian moving away from the "filter lifestyle?"

To quench her fans and followers' curiosity, Khloé Kardashian has opened up about whether she uses filters for her photos. She explained that while she has moved away from the "filter lifestyle", there are days when she feels like using one. She said,

"I'm like, ugh, I need a filter. Don't feel good about myself. But I'm on video. And I do like myself better in video than stills."

She acknowledged that she has previously "heavily photoshopped" her pictures, but over time, she trained her mind to "lay off the filters." She stated,

"This isn't real. That's not how I look. And I don't want to look like that. It was a strange time."

Khloé Kardashian revealed what she prefers to do currently:

"I like to have good lighting. I definitely have more controlled photos like good lighting and I might take a bunch to get the ones I like. But I don't have to photoshop every photo."

Khloé elaborated on her experience of cosmetic surgeries and attached a screenshot seemingly from an Instagram revealing the details of her "nose job" and "skin tightening procedures". At another point, she explained that she has also undergone surgeries on her face, since she was previously diagnosed with a face "cancer." She added that her face has also typically changed since her early days on TV when she was 22.

In a new episode of her podcast, Khloé Kardashian addressed fans' rumors, including "Kardashian clones", using filters, and the first rumor about their family. She acknowledged that she has moved away from the "filter lifestyle" and at a point, she did that because of others around her.
