Liam Neeson's Ice Road: Vengeance finally finds a streaming home on Netflix. The 2025 thriller brought Neeson back in another action-packed affair, which served as a sequel to the 2021 film, The Ice Road.

In the movie, Neeson portrayed Mike McCann, the brother of an Iraq War veteran, who decided to join a risky mission to save a group of miners trapped after a devastating explosion. He helped those in need while dealing with an unknown threat, determined to thwart their operation and put their lives at risk. However, he couldn't save his brother.

The new movie shows Mike travelling to Nepal to spread his brother's ashes on Mount Everest. It feels like a sweet departure from all the stress and burden he experienced in his earlier mission. Ice Road: Vengeance streaming date on Netflix revealed

Ice Road: Vengeance will start streaming on Netflix from September 15, 2025. It will be a part of Netflix's official catalog and available to watch online.

Although set in Nepal, the film was reportedly shot in a small town in Victoria, Australia, which doubled for the Nepali location. The principal photography commenced in January 2024, as per Variety.

CODE Entertainment produced this feature film in association with ShivHans Pictures. Vertical handled the distribution and released it on June 27, 2025, in select theaters in the United States. Later, on July 1, the film was made available online on video-on-demand (VOD) platforms.

Jonathan Hensleigh, who wrote and directed the first movie, returned to work on the sequel. Liam Neeson joined him for the sequel, which he co-leads with Chinese actress Fan Bingbing.

The film's official plot synopsis reads,

"Big rig ice road driver Mike McCann travels to Nepal to scatter his late brother's ashes on Mt. Everest. While on a packed tour bus traversing the deadly 12,000 ft. terrain of the infamous Road to the Sky, McCann and his mountain guide, Dhani Yangchen, encounter a group of ruthless mercenaries and must fight to save not only themselves but the innocent passengers and a local village on the brink of destruction."
