Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley made things red carpet official on Saturday, May 24, in Rome, Italy.

The Old Town Road country singer, 63, and actress-cum-model, 59, attended an inaugural dinner for the Orizzonti/Rosso exhibition, held at Palazzo Barberini. Shortly after, Cyrus took to Instagram to share a glimpse of their evening.

In the video, set to KC and the Sunshine Band’s That’s the Way (I Like It), the new lovebirds can be seen strutting together, joined at the hip, as they seemingly left their hotel. The clip then cuts to them sauntering through the Orizzonti/Rosso exhibition with their hands interlinked. Cyrus captioned the clip:

"With my beautiful girlfriend in Rome [heart emoji]."

Earlier this month, a source exclusively told the outlet that the couple is unfazed by any negativity surrounding their new bond:

“Liz doesn’t care that skeptics don’t get it. She’s focused on the special things that they have in common, like country music,” the source said. “She loves his Southern vibes. He’s very calm and happy around her. They have great energy together. She very much enjoys his company.”

People Magazine also reported that Elizabeth Hurley was spotted flashing a smile and striking a pose for the cameras at the event, which was staged by the Fondazione Valentino Garavani e Giancarlo Giammetti. She wore a bright pink bodycon gown with a plunging neckline and dramatic trailing sleeve, pairing the look with platform sandals.

She left her long tresses loose, styled in beachy waves, and completed the look with statement earrings. As for Cyrus, he opted for his signature tight-fitting black pants, black jacket, and accessorized with a western hat, sunglasses, and boots.

Hurley’s 23-year-old son, Damian, also joined them that night, sporting a red suit and sunglasses. The actress also took to Instagram to share moments from the night, captioning the post:

"Roma 💞💞💞💞."

Billy Ray Cyrus echoed the sentiment in the comments section with several red heart emojis.

For the unversed, the pair went public with their love back in April, when they shared a photo of their kiss on Easter Sunday. Since then, they’ve been regulars in the limelight and have even discussed their bond with the media.

As reported by Billboard, the pair were part of the cast of the 2022 Lionsgate comedy Christmas in Paradise. Speaking on Apple Music’s The Ty Bentli Show shortly after Easter, Billy Ray Cyrus said:

“We did very few scenes together but the couple times we were in the same scene there was a chemistry there. We just laughed, and it was at a time I wasn’t laughing a lot.”

Not long after filming wrapped, they reconnected when Hurley texted Billy Ray Cyrus amid some personal struggles he was going through. The Achy Breaky Heart singer said, according to Billboard:

“You’ve got a friend in your corner," she texted him. “Of all the people to reach out to me in that second that maybe I needed most… this friend who made me laugh.” He went on, “She’s so impressively brilliant. She reminds me a lot of Dolly Parton. She’s a very smart businesswoman. If you can laugh together, you can make it through everything.”
