BTS’ Jungkook is known for wearing his heart on his sleeve. And that’s exactly what fans saw recently when he got a little emotional while watching the animated film KPop Demon Hunters.

The youngest member of the K-pop group may be used to breaking records, but this time, he broke hearts most softly: By shedding a few quiet tears during the movie. And trust ARMY to notice even the smallest moment like this and turn it into something huge.

Following Netflix's post (which has now been changed), a fan wrote:

"😂😂😂😂I can t. I LOVE how Loved he is"

Another AMRY member wrote:

"First "BTS NOTICED SAJA BOYS" & now "Jungkook watched kpop demon hunters" in the bio.. Netflix i know what you are 😭😭"

Since every K-pop fan is currently hooked on the hit animated film, a fan commented:

"Netflix really said 'ARMY mode: activated.'"

Another ARMY member wrote:

"We love to do iconic sh*t 🤷🏻‍♀️😎"

Jungkook has a massive fan following, and mentioning him would likely encourage fans who haven't watched KPop Demon Hunters yet to check it out. A fan wrote:

"Jungkook validation goes crazy"

Even though Netflix has now changed the picture, the bio still says that the beloved K-pop idol watched the animated film. KPop Demon Hunters arrived in June and took less time to become a hit.

It follows K-pop idols who secretly battle demons in between performances. The films became so popular that fans are even demanding a sequel, and speculating whether Jinu ( a main character) is alive or really dead.

How did BTS's Jungkook react to KPop Demon Hunters?

While KPop Demon Hunters had already made waves for its visuals and strong female characters, Jungkook’s reaction added a whole new layer of buzz. Netflix didn’t waste a second in joining the fun.

As soon as clips of Jungkook tearing up made the rounds online, Netflix updated their X (formerly Twitter) bio to say: "Jungkook watched Kpop Demon Hunters," and even added his photo to their header. That one tiny gesture was enough to send ARMY into a full-on meltdown.

The Fake Love singer shared on his live on Weverse that he felt sad after watching the film. Since Jinu's sacrifice was the most heartbreaking moment, how could the BTS member not react? He said:

"You idiot... Why did he block that? What the heck? Just fight with her."

Jungkook wipes tears while watching Jinu's love for Rumi and his final act of redemption. Not just the beloved K-pop idol, but even fans were heartbroken to see Jinu die without a single kiss scene with Rumi.

Is there any update on a potential KPop Demon Hunters 2?

No, as of now, there is no update on a sequel to KPop Demon Hunters, but fans aren't losing hope either. Even the makers revealed in an interview that a few storylines had to be ignored, like that of Zoey and Mira's backstory.

There are many questions unanswered, and a second movie could explain them all. From the mystery surrounding Rumi's father to Jinu's hopeful comeback, fans would definitely love to watch Huntrix back.
