Erin Campaneris, popularly known as Bobby T, the former partner of former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez, has shared her stance on Mark’s criminal charges. The 44-year-old model and mother of 8-year-old son Daniel took to her official Instagram story to share a statement addressing Mark’s criminal charges.
Bobby T announced that she was aware of the charges Mark is facing but her priority lies with her son. She stated that she is only concerned about his safety.
“I am aware of the serious criminal charges currently facing my son's father, Mark Sanchez. My foremost priority has always been, and remains, our eight year old son, Daniel. I chose to remain silent publicly to protect Daniel.”
She continued:
“Now that everything is out in the open, my focus hasn't changed. I have always been concerned for his safety and for what he is exposed to. Sadly, none of this is surprising to me.”
She added that she also learned about the “horrific” incident via a news alert on her phone, and she doesn't have any extra information on the case, only what is publicly available.
“Like everyone else, I learned of the horrific event through a news alert on my phone while sitting next to Daniel. I still know only what is publicly available.
She expressed empathy for the victim and hoped her son wouldn't be defined by his father’s story.
She concluded the lengthy statement:
“At the end of the day, I'm simply a mama to a very sweet young boy doing my best to protect his peace. Thank you for the compassion so many have shown toward Daniel and me,” she signed off as Bobby.
More details on Mark Sanchez’s criminal charges
On October 4, 2025, the IMPD announced that Fox Sports analyst Mark Sanchez was arrested after he was involved in an altercation that left him with multiple stab wounds.
IMPD announced on X:
“IMPD is investigating a physical disturbance that happened near Senate Avenue and West Washington Street on October 4, 2025, around 12:30 a.m.”
It added that the incident involved two adult males, and led to the victim ending up with lacerations and Sanchez sustaining injuries consistent with stab wounds.
“Detectives believe this was an isolated incident between the two men and not a random act of violence.”
After further investigation, Sanchez was arrested for three misdemeanours, including battery with injury, unlawful entry of a motor vehicle and public intoxication. He wasn't taken into custody immediately as he was receiving treatment in the hospital.
On October 12, TMZ reported that Mark Sanchez had been discharged and was booked into jail, where he took a mug shot. Speaking to FOX59 and CBS4, Sanchez said he was grateful to be alive. He thanked the first responders and the surgeon who operated on him, adding he was focusing on recovery.
