"My very first post is because of her": Ryan Guzman says Jennifer Lopez created his Instagram during 'The Boy Next Door' press tour

Ryan Guzman has shared a story involving Jennifer Lopez that is nearly a decade old. It is related to his breakout film The Boy Next Door (2015). In a recent interview with People, Guzman revealed Jennifer Lopez, his co-star in the thriller, was the person who started his Instagram account for him.

Guzman said,

"She did, and my very first post is because of her. I think we were doing press for The Boy Next Door. She was in charge of it for a little bit. It is such a crazy thing to now think about that Jennifer Lopez is the one who started my Instagram."

The revelation came as the actor looked back on the tenth anniversary of The Boy Next Door.

What did Ryan Guzman say about Jennifer Lopez creating his Instagram?

Speaking with People, Guzman recalled how it feels to realize that the film is turning ten years old. He said:

"I did not know it was the 10... it is 10 years since that movie? Where has time gone?"

Guzman also shared that during the film's press tour, Jennifer Lopez discovered he was not on Instagram. The actor mentioned:

"I think I just had a Facebook or something, and she had asked me what's my Instagram handle or whatnot, and I just kind of had a blank face. She goes, 'You know what? No, I will set it up for you.'"

Besides creating his social media account, Lopez also left an impression on Guzman through her work. He recalled:

"It's one thing to see a superstar do what they do, but to watch an individual maintain a level of entrepreneurship in so many different lanes, whether it be acting, I think she was writing a book at the same time, she was also curating a reality show with dancing, I believe ... She is doing her music and then I think she was trying to get ready for another movie, this was all happening at the same time as filming."

Speaking more about Jennifer Lopez, Ryan stated:

"To me, it was such a huge indicator that you can do it and this is how you do it. You are able to delegate a lot of the hands-on stuff to people you trust. It was just being a fly on the wall and a relatively new actor back then, I was just trying to soak in as much as I can, and I was just very grateful of the opportunity."
