Winter Olympics to start in February next year

As reported by Hollywood Reporter, the executive VP of NBC Sports’ advertising and sales, Peter Lazarus, highlighted the impact of collaboration with creators.

“With the 2024 Paris Summer Olympic Games, NBCUniversal recognized early on that social media has allowed us to connect with the world in a different way and by partnering with highly engaged creators on various social platforms for our inaugural Paris Creator Collective, we had an exciting opportunity to reach the next generation of Olympic fans,”

He further stated how the media company garnered impressive results with their Creator Collective program in the past.

“We saw tremendous results, garnering nearly 300 million views across our Creator Collective, which is why we have brought it back for the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympic Winter Games.”

The next year’s Milano Cortina is a much-awaited global multi-sport event, which will start on February 6 and conclude on February 22 next year. The Winter Olympics games will be organized at different sites across Lombardy and Northeast Italy.

Dua Lipa recently appeared in a new commercial for the Winter Olympics.
