Pavel Durov has 106 children—six conceived naturally with three different women, and 100 conceived via sperm donation. In an interview with the French outlet Le Point, Durov revealed that he plans to split his fortune among all 106 children upon his death. According to Forbes, Durov is worth approximately $17.1 billion. His 100-plus children reportedly reside in 12 countries.

In the interview he said,

"I want to specify that I make no difference between my children. There are those who were conceived naturally and those who came from my sperm donations. They are all my children and will have the same rights! I don't want them to tear each other apart after my death."

He added,

"I want them to live like normal people, to build themselves up alone, to learn to trust themselves, to be able to create, not to be dependent on a bank account."

Pavel has a history of tangling with the Russian government over free speech and was charged by French officials in 2024 for allegedly allowing sexual abuse and drug trafficking crimes to occur on his encrypted messaging app.

More about lawsuit against Pavel Durov surrounding his kids

Pavel Durov's ex-partner of 10 years—and mother of three of his children—Irina Bolgar, filed a criminal complaint in Switzerland in 2024. She alleged that the tech founder struck their then three-year-old son so hard it sent him "across the room."

In another separate complaint, Bolgar claimed that Pavel Durov had cut off their child support payments. Bolgar launched a social media campaign to back her claims with "evidence." She posted around 20 posts on Instagram in October, 2024, including carousel slideshows of Pavel Durov with her and their children.

While speaking to The New York Times, Irina, said,

"The carefully crafted image of Durov as a defender of freedom collapses when faced with his personal life. It reveals a stark contrast between his public declarations of freedom and his private actions."

In the article, she revealed that she met Durov in 2012 in St. Petersburg, and the two bonded over common interest in yoga. The two began dating during a trip to Dubai, returned to Russia, and lived together at the W Hotel, before moving into an apartment near his company's headquarters.

She described a luxurious lifestyle alongside Durov, including stays at a 116-acre resort in Sardinia that cost $1 million per month, trips to Paris, Italy, and Monaco via private planes, and a beachside penthouse in Dubai with its own elevator.
