No, phones are not allowed at the Met Gala, however, Megan Thee Stallion shared a video on Instagram featuring all the delectable food at the 2025 Met Gala with the caption,

"Hottie Cam in thee MET GALA."

The artist was seated with Doechii and Angel Reese, and can be seen eating cornbread and caviar. Dinner at the MET started at 8 p.m., and the menu was curated by James Beard Award-winning chef Kwame Onwuachi.

Anna Wintour, who has been hosting the Gala since 1995, discourages attendees from using their phones or sharing glimpses of the event. The Vogue website, where Wintour is the editor-in-chief, says,

"Guests must abide by a no-phone (and, therefore, no social media) policy once they've entered the museum."

Megan Thee Stallion is not the only one to disobey Wintour's rules. A few other celebrities, including Halle Bailey, Questlove, Cynthia Erivo, Tyla, and some others, were also seen snapping pictures and videos at the Met Gala.

Megan Thee Stallion gives a sneak peek into the Met Gala dinner menu

After Megan Thee Stallion in an Instagram video gave her followers a sneak peek into the Met Gala dinner menu, where she can be seen eating cornbread and caviar, netizens wondered, what other dishes made it to the menu?

The menu, which was crafted by Kwame Onwuachi, included papaya piri piri salad, creole-style roasted chicken, traditional rice and peas, house-made hot sauce, smoky BBQ collard greens with crispy bacon, with honey-curry butter. The dessert included a "Bodega special Cosmic Brownie" with a powdered sugar doughnut mousse.

Chef Kwame, while speaking to Vogue, noted that "Each dish was a nod to the diverse expressions of Black culture across the globe, presented with elegance and intention."

Other than the "no phones" policy, which Megan Thee Stallion disobeyed by posting videos on Instagram, Anna Wintour has set further rules for the attendees.

Attendees have to be invited and have to pay for a Met Gala ticket, since it's a fundraising event. As per CBS News, last year's ticket cost $75,000, with a table pricing at $350,000.

Attendees are also expected to follow a dress code. The theme for 2025 was Superfine: Tailoring Black Style. Guests are also not allowed to post on social media from inside the Met Gala, or smoke inside the museum, and must sit only at the assigned seats. Expert party planner Eaddy Kierman is in charge of assigning seats.

Guests should also be 18 or above to attend.
