Ida Mae Maclin finally got to groove at Beyoncé's concert after she and Tina Knowles sponsored her tickets!

The 84-year-old grandmother went viral back in February after she shared a video of herself asking the songstress for tickets to her Cowboy Carter tour. Her quippy remarks and unhinged commentary quickly went viral before it caught Knowles' eye.

In a new update shared by the best-selling author and matriarch of the family, it seems Ida Mae made it to the concert after all, as she could be seen grooving to RIIVERDANCE with her family hyping her up.

"I DM’ed her granddaughter and this lovely grandma came to DC to the concert! Me and Bey bought tickets for them. They had a blast. She is hilarious!"

Tina Knowles penned in her Wednesday, July 9 video.

Tina Knowles throws shade at Nicki Minaj ahead of being honored for her work with HIV patients

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Tina Knowles is expected to be honored with the Elizabeth Taylor Commitment to End AIDS Award at the Elizabeth Taylor Night of Compassion. Organized by its namesake foundation, the event is scheduled for September 18 at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

Knowles is being recognised for her ongoing initiatives to help those afflicted with AIDS, as well as her general support for the LGBTQ+ community. Catherine Brown, executive director of the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation, has issued a statement:

"This is a critical time for support to people living with HIV, and we could not be more excited to have Mrs. Cookie Johnson as our 2025 ETAF Champion. Having known and joined Elizabeth Taylor in her work, Mrs. Johnson is deeply committed to the prevention and treatment of people at risk for and living with HIV. In addition, we are thrilled to honor Ms. Tina Knowles with the Commitment to End AIDS Award for her years of dedication and advocacy on behalf of people living with HIV. Both of these outstanding, selfless and iconic women join in our founder’s vision of an AIDS-free world."

Recently, Knowles seemingly threw shade at Nicki Minaj earlier today amid the latter's public beef with Jay Z's record label Roc Nation.

Days ago, Nicki accused the record label of failing to pay her millions for her stake in Tidal after it was sold for $302 million in 2021, though she also made some allegations about a paternity story involving a man who has been alleging that he is Jay Z's son for years.

Tina Knowles responded by sharing a video of her daughter appreciating her mother's emotional resilience:

"It’s so easy for you to get lost and just be so unhappy. I’m always able to get back to myself because of you."

Tina Knowles captioned the video:

“Good morning it feels good to wake up knowing my favs didn’t lose their minds y’all have a great day remember to ignore the ignorance as @mstinaknowles would say.”

Although the author cum fashion designer didn't explicitly address Nicki Minaj, fans were quick to draw up a connection between the two. Jay Z and Beyoncé have yet to address the situation themselves as well.
