Alice Evans says daughters have roof over their heads as GoFundMe raise over $18,000 following Ioan Gruffudd divorce

British-American actress Alice Evans is currently going through a rough time financially after her divorce from Fantastic Four actor Ioan Gruffudd. The 56-year-old Evans, who first met Groffudd on the sets of Kevin Lima's adventure-comedy film 102 Dalmatians, was married to him from 2007 to 2023. It was Gruffudd who filed for divorce in 2021 after The Christmas Card actress took to social media and accused him of quitting on her and her two daughters, Elsie, who is 11, and Ella, who is 15. They divorced in July 2023.

As per reports, Evans' divorce from Gurrfudd was a messy one, as it was public. Alice accused his former husband of infidelity and claimed that he was in a romantic relationship with Bianca Wallace while they were still married. Gruffudd tied the knot with 32-year-old Wallace on April 25, 2025. As she was going through serious financial struggles, Alice Evans had no other option but to turn to her fans for help during these difficult times.

Following her controversial divorce from Gruffudd, in a recent court document, Alice Evans claimed that she was about to become homeless because of her dire financial condition. Having no other option left, she set up a GoFundMe and created a Divorce fundraiser. Up until now, it has raised over eighteen thousand dollars. However, Evans expressed her embarrassment for having to take such a measure. The Fascination actress took to Instagram to share her current situation and said:

"Just wanted to tell everybody that me and the girls and Emma are safe with a roof over our heads! It's been a whirlwind but we made it through the last three days and managed to save all our belongings too! We could never, ever have done this without the incredible love and kindness from all of you. Honestly I was at my wit's end and you saved me."

She further added:

"Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will keep you posted. Love you so much."

Alice Evans expresses her gratitude to her fans

Evans, who was having difficulty managing the moving costs, in another update, shared that she could cover the required amount. She also mentioned that she was looking for a place to rent. While sharing how she has been selling many of her things to make some extra cash, she mentioned that she has a few jobs lined up that would improve their financial situation.

Alice Evans also took the opportunity to thank her fans who helped her during their time of crisis and expressed her gratitude to them. She said:

"I am so incredibly grateful and humbled by your generosity. I cannot explain how low things got last Wednesday when I reached out. I am unbelievably appreciative and forever indebted to you all. Thank you."
