More about the cause of death of the American Idol supervisor and her husband

According to the new information obtained by People Magazine, the deaths of American Idol supervisor Robin Kaye and her husband, Thomas Deluca, have been listed as homicides.

Their autopsy report further states that Robin Kaye died a few minutes after being shot multiple times, while her husband, Thomas Deluca, was killed a few seconds after he was shot. Moreover, as the exact time of their deaths on July 10 could not be determined, the official time of their deaths has been listed as 4:14 pm on July 14, four days after they were actually murdered.

The American Idol executive and her husband, Thomas Deluca, had gone for a grocery haul, and upon returning, they encountered the suspect, Raymond Boodarian, inside their residence. According to People Magazine, two 911 calls were made prior to their murder. Police officers from the Los Angeles police department did arrive at the couple's home after the call was made, but did not enter the premises. Four days later, after a friend made a welfare call, police entered the couple's home, which had been left unlocked, only to find Robin Kaye murdered in the pantry and Thomas Deluca lying in the bathroom. The authorities released a statement saying:

"The victims returned home while the suspect had gained entry into the residence, and a confrontation ensued, which resulted in the suspect taking their lives. The victims succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds, and the suspect fled from the residence on foot.”

Raymond Boodarian, who has a prior criminal record, was arrested on July 15 and is now facing multiple charges. At the time of their deaths, American Idol had released a statement saying:

"We’re devastated to hear of Robin and her dear husband, Tom’s, passing. Robin has been a cornerstone of the Idol family since 2009 and was truly loved and respected by all who came in contact with her. Robin will remain in our hearts forever and we share our deepest sympathy with her family and friends during this difficult time.”

Both Robin Kaye and Thomas Deluca have now been cremated and laid to rest. The trial of the suspect in the death of an American Idol supervisor has now been postponed after he appeared in court on August 20 but failed to respond to any of the questions asked.

According to People Magazine, he is currently scheduled to appear in mental health court next month.
