Let's examine the details of her comment.
Taylor Swift gives a thumbs up to Adam Sandler's Happy Gilmore 2

Taylor Swift recently took to her Instagram stories to shower praise on Happy Gilmore 2. Sharing a poster of the film, the Blank Space singer called it a must-watch. She even went on to give it a score of 13 out of 10.
"Happy Gilmore 2 had me cackling and cheering the whole movie! An absolute watch, 13/10, go watch it on @netflix as soon as humanly possible"
Since Swift is a major celebrity, her shoutout might help the film get more recognition. It will help more people discover and possibly watch the movie.
Happy Gilmore 2 is a sequel to the 1996 film Happy Gilmore. Happy, who is now a widower, works at a supermarket. He returns to play golf to collect money for his daughter's ballet school.
In an E! interview, Sandler spoke about working with his daughters, Sadie and Sunny, in the film. He said:
“Oh, my god, you're just relieved. Once they do it well, nothing feels better as a parent. It must be like when you're the parents of a baseball player and you're at the game and they get a hit. You just go, ‘Thank God.’ It’s just so much relief.”
The father-daughter dynamic might have clicked with Taylor.
Meanwhile, Julie Bowen and Christopher McDonald, two actors from the first film, reprise their roles in the sequel. The film also features some new entries like Bad Bunny and Benny Safdie, among others.
Happy Gilmore 2 is available to stream on Netflix.
