"And it did mess him up" — Kelly Clarkson jokes about messing with Clay Aiken’s ‘serial killer’ organized fridge

Singer-songwriter Kelly Clarkson, who was the winner of the first season of the immensely popular singing reality TV show, American Idol, compared her friend, Clay Aiken's refrigerator, to that of a serial killer. The 43-year-old television personality, as per Entertainment Weekly, finds cleaning "therapeutic," but when it comes to Clay Aiken, who is a former American Idol contestant, she thinks he takes matters too far.

Kelly Brianne, professionally and commonly known as Kelly Clarkson, while talking to Norman Reedus, Ian McShane, and Ana De Armas on The Kelly Clarkson Show about their previous jobs before becoming celebrities, was surprised to find out that The Walking Dead star, Norman was earlier a cleaner, who till the day is a neatnik.

After learning that Norman Reedus is a neat freak, Kelly Clarkson mentioned her friend Clay Aiken, the American Idol season 2 runner-up, who is, according to her, of a similar nature. The "Because of You" hitmaker said:

"I had a friend like you that I used to mess with. (One that) looked like a serial killer with his refrigerator. (That friend?) Clay Aiken. He was on [American Idol], the same show I came from, and I went to his house, and I was like, 'The hell?'"

Clarkson continued and said:

"He had everything so, and then just to f*ck iwith him, I just moved everything. And it did mess him up. It did look like a serial killer lived there, how his refrigerator looked."

46-year-old Clay Aiken, who is also an actor and political activist, was one of the star contestants on American Idol season 2. He was quite close to winning the show and even reached the finals, but unfortunately lost to Ruben Studdard, who became the season 2 winner.

Widely known for his role as Daryl Dixon in AMC's post-apocalyptic horror thriller series The Walking Dead, Norman Reedus on The Kelly Clarkson Show talked about what a neat freak he is. He claimed that he might not appear to be someone who would be concerned with cleanliness and order, but surprisingly, he is. Reedus said:

"I'm really kind of anal about stuff like that. You would look at me and never think that, but like, my refrigerator, the yogurts have to be right there in order. I'm that guy. You would never know."
