Bill Belichick made a name for himself as a coach on the gridiron, having won six Super Bowls as a head coach for the New England Patriots. Since leaving the NFL to pursue an opportunity to head the North Carolina Tar Heels football program, it seems that Bill is getting more of a spotlight for his life off the field.
Belichick has been dating influencer Jordon Hudson since 2023, but it seems as though wedding bells may be on the horizon. According to photos retrieved by Page Six on April 29 at an American Museum of Natural History luncheon in New York City, the 24-year-old influencer was seen wearing a diamond ring on her engagement finger as she sat with the former New England Patriots’ general manager. It is noteworthy that she was spotted with the same ring a day prior on April 28, while en route to dinner.
Bizarre CBS Sunday Morning appearance and more
The report of their potential engagement comes on the heels of a very strange interaction on CBS Sunday Morning on April 27. Belichick was being interviewed by journalist Tony Dokoupil, and things seemed to be going smoothly until Dokoupil asked how the pair had met.
Following the question about what sparked their romance, Hudson, who was sitting off camera, quickly interjected:
“We’re not talking about this,” before Bill had a chance to get in a word.
The intrepid journalist turned Jordon’s way and asked, “No?”, to which she then replied “No,” again, and in doing so created a visibly and palpably awkward environment for the interview from that point on.
Dokoupil surmised:
"It’s a topic neither one of them is comfortable commenting on”, before steering the conversation into greener pastures.
To cap it off, Bill made it a point to clarify that regardless of the circumstances under which they met, he’s happy and "never been too worried about what everyone else thinks."
It appears Hudson was not done acting as Bill’s PR mouthpiece, which was made clear by her actions on social media on April 29, just days after the CBS fiasco. Bill is currently releasing a book detailing his life as an NFL coach titled The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football. Hudson took it upon herself to take a screenshot of Bill’s e-mail conversation with his PR team about how the media coverage had positioned his book, in which he was livid. She then posted it with a caption that read:
“Full statement to be released later today.”
Hudson seems to be going out of her way to create some buzz for herself and the upcoming book. As long as the couple is happy, the rest is just outside conjecture for now.
