The comedian, who is most known in the world of Dungeons and Dragons, recently announced his departure from Dropout.tv. In a video announcing his departure, he affirmed there was no drama and revealed that his decision was driven by his new passion for crafting miniature shoes for dolls.

In the video, he yells, "This is me!" before revealing that he will be making it all: cowboy boots, galoshes, dance shoes, brogues, wingtips, and more. The executive producer, writer, and game master of Dimension 20 has also launched a website dedicated to the same, and a quote sprawled across its main page that reads as follows:

"I'm better at making shows than you are at anything."

Mulligan is married to Izzy Roland, a fellow comedian. The two got engaged in January 2021, as they reportedly announced on Instagram, and tied the knot in April 2023. They had been dating since 2017. By the following year, they welcomed their first child, a daughter whose name remains unclear.

During a May 2025 interview with Game Rant, Brennan Lee Mulligan gushed over his wife:

“Dollar for dollar, pound for pound, Izzy Roland is the funniest person on the planet Earth,” he said. “There is no one sharper or faster or weirder who makes more exciting choices. She endlessly makes choices I never could have predicted or anticipated, and yet, they all feel creatively inevitable.”

While they may have comedy in common, Brennan Lee Mulligan attributed the way their marriage works to their relationship dynamics:

“We have the same dynamics that I think every successful marriage has in terms of, like, we’re good teammates,” he said. “We work well doing the business of life.” He added, “If you find someone you like hanging out with, that you are in love with, and who you do life well with, you have to marry that person!”

The comedian's announcement video is seemingly a parody video, though Dropout’s official site also lists his American Girl Doll shoes' domain in its video. Fans are now confused whether his departure is genuine or a gimmick.

Brennan said in the video, “Sometimes your heart sings a song so loud that your soul can’t not hear it." He then beseeched all viewers to “please investigate, check out my website,” before concluding with, “It’s got to be incredible. It’s got to be hell no.”

Sam Reich, the host of Game Changer and owner of Dropout, also took to X to inform fans of the Google tidbit:

“Do yourself a favor and google brennan lee mulligan right now.”

In another tweet, he added,

"We highly recommend you google "Brennan Lee Mulligan" right now. a lovely send off to our former colleague on his new endeavour."

Brennan Lee Mulligan has been a key figure in Dropout’s flagship series, including both Game Changer and Make Some Noise. In his video, the award-winning comedian did not announce the name of the person who would be assuming his role next, though fans seem to think Katie Marovitch can be his successor.
