Are Camille Kostek and Rob Gronkowski still dating? Model-turned-actress claims to be treated 'lesser than' by other NFL wives

Camille Kostek, in a recent interview with Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour, discussed the difficulties she encountered as Rob Gronkowski's fiancée during his time with the New England Patriots. She disclosed that because she was single, other NFL wives frequently saw her as an outsider.

Rob and Camille Kostek are still very much together in spite of their prior difficulties. The pair, who made their romance public in 2015, still go to events and red carpets together. Gronk even confirmed that their relationship is still solid. He made a short cameo on Honestly Cavallari.

In 2013, their relationship started at a Goodwill charity function. The start of their long-term romance began when Gronk playfully gave her his number on the back of a name tag, as Camille Kostek described in a previous interview with SiriusXM.

She remembered the incident and revealed:

"He ripped off his 'Hi My name is Rob Gronkowski' sticker on his T-shirt. He had written on the back of it his phone number. I was a rookie. I was like, 'Oh no, no, no, I can't take this. I can't take his number.' And then [his teammate] was like, 'Just take it,' and I was like, 'Okay,' and I put it in my pocket. And I never spoke about it again."

They have been one of the most adored couples in sports and entertainment since making their red carpet debut at the 2016 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Sports Awards.

Model-turned-actress claims to be treated 'lesser than' by other NFL wives

On the June 18 episode of Kristin Cavallari's Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour, 33-year-old actress and Sports Illustrated model Camille Kostek opened up about her relationship with former NFL player Rob Gronkowski and the stigma she experienced among Patriots wives and girlfriends (WAGs).

Cavallari asked Camille:

“When everyone found out that you were dating Rob, the other WAGs, how did they treat you?”

Camille replied:

“I felt like I was seen as a lesser than girlfriend because I didn’t have a ring on my finger. But you want to know what’s so interesting about that? The woman that’s coming to mind [who] judged me the most, she’s divorced.”

Camille Kostek: From Cheerleader to Girlfriend

It was in 2015 that they started dating, right after she left the cheerleading squad, even though Camille Kostek met Rob when she was still cheering for the New England Patriots. Over the course of ten years, they have had their ups and downs, including a breakup in the year 2017, but the couple is still going strong. Camille even mentioned that the breakup had made a significant impact on her.

Camille recalled her breakup with Gronk:

“Rob and I met when I was 21 years old and we’ve been in each other’s lives for 10 years. First breakup was in 2017, but I think that some of the best things that changed the trajectory of my life came from this f***ing breakup that broke me but also allowed me to get in the zone. I didn’t care about dating. I felt like I was asexual.”

Camille Kostek went on to talk about how she used the breakup from Rob to redirect all her energy and focus. She ended up trying out for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, where she completed her lifelong dream. While her relationship may have thrown her into the "WAG" category, she emphasized that dating an athlete was only one aspect of her goals.

“In that year, I decided to audition for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, which was on my bucket list. I cared about pursuing the things that brought me joy. There were so many things I was destined to want to do and then I happened to date an athlete, and it was like, ‘You are a WAG.’”

No Bad Blood between her and Gisele Bündchen

During the interview, they also ended up talking about Tom Brady's ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, a very famous WAG and model. Though Camille Kostek didn't spend much time with her, she did have a really good impression of her.

Kristin had asked about Gisele Bündchen, who is Tom Brady's ex-wife, as Rob played along with him on the Patriots.

“How much time did you spend around Gisele [Bündchen]?”

Camille Kostek answered:

“I wish it was juicy. Honestly, what’s so special about Gisele is when we would cross paths, she would embrace me and talk to me like we’ve known each other forever. I only have great things to say about her.”
