Days after Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement, Swift's alleged high school boyfriend took to X to tweet an image of them together.

In the caption, Andrew Slye wrote,

"That feeling when your girlfriend from high school finally gets engaged. I used to tell myself: Andrew, it'll be ok. She wasn't right for you. I just hope her husband isn't some handsome buff football player."

The post quickly gained traction among Swifties and went viral on social media. Taylor's fans took to the comment section of the post to express their opinions and reactions,

Andy is married to the Creative Director, Editor, and Co-shooter of Slye Films. While commenting on his post about Taylor, Andy gave credit to his alleged high-school girlfriend for hitting it off with his wife. Andy revealed that the two bonded over Taylor's music,

"I wouldn’t have hit it off with my wife if it weren’t for Taylor. Taylor was a topic the first time we met. We bonded over the music. Now we film weddings as a husband/wife team. We love to film football weddings (like this ND one) Is anyone else thinking what I’m thinking?"

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement after two years of dating on August 26 in a joint Instagram post. The post featured Travis kneeling on one knee and holding Taylor while they were surrounded by flowers.
