Nikki Bella, 41, and Artem Chigvintsev, 42, met on Dancing with the Stars in 2017 and started dating soon afterward. They became engaged in November 2019 and married a couple of years later, according to People. They welcomed their son Matteo Artemovich Chigvintsev on July 31, 2020. However, they have recently grown apart for several reasons, which has led to their arrangement for shared joint custody of their son, and they are co-parenting him.

Entertainment Weekly reported that Artem was arrested in Napa County on suspicion of domestic violence related to Nikki Bella. However, the Napa County District Attorney chose not to file charges due to insufficient evidence. Subsequently, Nikki withdrew the restraining orders and finalized a divorce settlement with Artem.

A series of legal proceedings and negotiations culminated in a finalized settlement. Consequently, Nikki Bella is required to pay Artem Chigvinsev $3,500 each month for child support. As reported by Bang Showbiz NZ, they reached the child support agreement during their divorce last November. Additionally, Bella must pay her ex-husband a substantial sum of $200,000 as part of the divorce settlement.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Nikki's fortune is worth $8 million, and Artem has a net worth of $6 million.

In 2019, Nikki Bella became engaged to Artem Chigvintsev in France, and they married in 2022, two years after welcoming their son. Their journey, which began during Dancing with the Stars, blossomed into a happy relationship, allowing them to experience parenthood together.

They celebrated their wedding in Paris, but their son missed it. The couple chose Matteo as their ring bearer, but he fell ill and could not attend the wedding.

In a 2023 conversation with E! News, Bella revealed,

"He [Matteo] was throwing up. The Nutcracker plays and we're like looking down the aisle, and I'm like, 'Where is he?'" And I feel just his hand like this, and my brother's like, 'Here's the rings. Matteo's vomiting. Just, you know, continue to get married.'"

Recalling that day, the former WWE star further continued,

"We both don't even remember the ring part because we both kept looking at each other like, 'Are we terrible parents, like putting our rings on and we were just told our son is vomiting in the back?'"

She later chimed in,

"He went back to the hotel, and he actually ended up being okay. But I'm sad we don't have that moment, but it's okay. We got to see him before."

About two years later, Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev faced challenges in their relationship, leading her to file for divorce on September 11. They finalized their divorce in late 2024.

She reflected on her divorce on the December 2 episode of The Nikki & Brie Show podcast and expressed,

"It's been really tough. I've been heartbroken, sad. You know, you dream of having this family and you have this incredible love and it just goes the other way. And you go from having a great love story to having a terrible one. And I never saw any of it coming, you know, as far as like what the ending would be."

According to a People report, she wishes and prays to "be great friends" with Chigvintsev because "that's what Matteo deserves."
