It seems like Kanye West’s twelfth studio album, Bully, will be coming out soon. According to an X post by ‘@Kurrco,’ West, who is also known as Ye, teased the release through his Yeezy website. All that is available is the album's name at the top of the page, with ‘Coming Soon’ written below. Social media users reacted to the news, as one X user wrote:

“I knew it. Asking for forgiveness was to spread his new album news.”

In similar lines, a second user said:

“bros apologizing to the jews for the bully rollout.”

One social media user commented that Kanye West’s work should be supported, saying:

“didn’t have to apologize to the Jews I was supporting anyways. That crazy sh*t help his art out sometimes. Lol.”

Another online commentator was seemingly taken aback by the news, as they shared:

“Do my eyes deceive me or is Kanye actually doing a rollout again.”

Sharing hopes for Bully, a netizen mentioned:

“If he locked in with everybody he used to work with, kept the skeleton of Bully and fleshed it out it will be an amazing project.”

A netizen seemed confused about the album, as they commented:

“Wtf is this album? The same bully i been listening to for almost a year? Another updated version?”

How did Kanye West’s album Bully get its name?

Earlier this year, Kanye West spoke to Justin Laboy about his new album. As they conversed, he revealed that his son, Saint, had a part in forming the album’s name. He said:

“My son was playing with some kid, and then he kicked him. I asked my son, 'why you do that?' and he said, 'because he weak.' I was like, 'this man is really a bully.'”

Laboy joked that Saint was the reason behind the album, and Kanye West added:

“Saint do that just kick everybody and like push him over.”

At the time, he said that the album would be out in June 2025, on his daughter North’s birthday. When asked how excited he was about the album, Ye said:

“Oh man, if there was a fan they would have heard the song can't tell me nothing and believe it [..] I just want to go see comments and see people like really love the post I just did and somebody be like release the album Kanye yeah if you're my fan you're not even going to call me Kanye you're going to call me my legal name.”

When Laboy asked why he changed his name to Ye, Kanye West explained that his friends always called him that, and no one negatively used that name. He said that when people used his full name in headlines, it was often in whatever way they wanted. However, when someone said Ye, who used to be Kanye West, it showed more respect and love for him and all the work he had done in his life.
